Adds Nutrients
Rich in nitrogen and other essential nutrients, Lupin Mulch gradually releases them into the soil, feeding your plants and improving growth without the need for synthetic fertilizers. The organic form of these minerals makes them more accessible and readily available for plant uptake -
Saves Water & Moderates Soil Temperature
This premium mulch helps retain moisture in the soil, reducing water usage. It also regulates soil temperature, keeping roots cooler in summer by up to 10°C and warmer in winter—ideal for WA’s climate. Water easily passes through the mulch, soaking into the soil. -
Saves Money and Energy
Lupin Mulch has a high amount of nutrients already made available to your plants reducing the need for additional fertilizers and soil conditioners. Lupin Mulch contains living microbes that convert minerals into enzymes in the natural fertilization process. Lupin Mulch also suppresses weed germination and growth. -
Increases Soil Biology
Lupin Mulch has microbial bacteria that grows naturally within it. The mulch creates an ideal environment for worms to grow and flourish. -
Environmentally Friendly
Sourced locally from WA farmers’ waste residues, Lupin Mulch is an environmentally sustainable product that helps reduce waste and support farming communities. -
Builds Soil Structure
As Lupin Mulch breaks down into humus, it increases soil carbon content and improves soil texture, enhancing drainage, and root penetration for stronger, more resilient plants.
Lupin Mulch is easy to apply. Just tip out the contents and spread over the desired area. It should be applied 40-50 mm thick on the garden, leaving 100mm around the base of plants and then water thoroughly after application. This will flush the micro bacteria into the soil for almost instant results. Improved plant health is noticeable within just 3 days. Wear a mask and gloves and keep product damp while applying to avoid inhaling the mix.
